Course Topic Description: Are you interested in understanding how people interact with technology and how we can design systems that are easier, more effective, accessible, and enjoyable to use? Are you curious about why some software products are intuitive and successful while others are confusing or frustrating, even when they are technically well-designed? Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a multidisciplinary field that brings together computer science, psychology, design, cognitive science, and human-centered approaches to understand how people interact with computing systems. In this course, we will explore the principles, theories, methods, and tools used to design and evaluate interactive systems with people at the center of the development process. For more details, please read the full course topic description under the syllabus link above. Thank you.
