FIN 484: Adv Investment Analysis

Pre req: FIN 383; at least JR standing; for Business majors only or by permission of the appropriate department chairperson

An examination in greater depth of subjects covered in the foundation investment analysis course and an introduction to recent innovations in the field. The course focuses on complex valuation techniques, derivatives strategies, advanced portfolio construction, and the analysis of various financial instruments. Modern portfolio theory and its application to portfolio management practices will be emphasized.
