NUR 328: Population Health Nursing

Prerequisite: RN-BS enrolled students only, NUR 301 and NUR 306 and NUR 214

Promotion of health and nursing care for diverse individuals, families, and aggregates in the community. This course addresses population focused health promotion, and disease and injury prevention based on determinants of local, national, and global health including lifestyle, environmental, cultural, and genetic factors. Course development guided by the AACN (2021) Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice and the ANA (2021) Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.
