POM 448: Supply Chain Management

Prerequisite: POM 345

Practical and industry-focused introduction to supply chain management. The course explores key issues associated with the design and management of supply chains, focusing on strategies, tactics and operations of purchasing, logistics and supply chain management. Attention is given to the tasks that minimize total supply chain costs subject to various service requirements. Prepares students for careers in operations, supply chain analytics, procurement, consulting, and logistics across global industries.
