POM 450: Contemporary Logistics Mgmt

Prerequisite: POM 345

The principles and practices of logistics management in domestic and global business environments. Emphasis is placed on the efficient movement, storage, and coordination of goods, services, and information across integrated supply chains. Students develop an understanding of managerial decision making, cost efficiency, customer service, and performance improvement in logistics operations. The course also explores strategic challenges related to procurement, manufacturing support, transportation, warehousing, and global distribution networks.
