POM 453: Transportation

Prerequisite: POM 345

Managerial, policy and analytical matters influence the creation of time and place utility through the movement of products and people. The course covers economics, business and management, and policy topics that shape the transportation service's environment. It primarily examines transportation regulation and policy, economics, modes and operating characteristics, risk management, and global planning issues affecting market access to goods and services.
