Steps for new students

1. Activate your UMass Dartmouth account for email, myUMassD portal, myCourses, and more
   Begin at: UMassD Logon Account Activation
2. Complete your Online Orientation
   Select: Online Orientation at myUMassD Student Resources
3. Schedule an advising appointment
4. View course listings for the upcoming term
   Visit: Course Listings
5. Register for classes in COIN (Corsairs Online Information)
   Go to: myUMassD > Quick Launch > COIN
6. Upload your photo to create your UMassPass Student ID
   Visit: UMass Pass Image Upload (login required)
   UMass Pass allows you library access and services as an online learner
7. Complete the steps for financial aid
   Visit: Online & Continuing Education Financial Aid
8. Order your textbooks
   Visit: Campus Store Online
