SMAST Admissions Procedures

Students considering entry for the fall semester

To be considered for fall admission, completed applications and all accompanying materials must be received no later than February 15.  However, to ensure full consideration, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit completed applications by mid-December. Review of applications and assignment of assistantship funding typically begins in mid-January.

Students considering entry for the spring semester

To be considered for spring admission, completed applications and all accompanying materials must be received no later than November 15.  However, to ensure full consideration, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit completed applications by mid-September. Review of applications and assignment of assistantship funding typically begins in mid-October.

International applicants

International applicants should contact the International Programs Office regarding application details and begin the application process ~2 months earlier to allow time for required visas.
