SMAST to host marine science research symposium

The 2019 UMass Intercampus Marine Science Research Symposium on April 4 will highlight cutting-edge research being conducted by students and faculty from all five UMass campuses.

UMass Dartmouth's School for Marine Science & Technology will host the 2019 UMass Intercampus Marine Science Research Symposium. The symposium is an opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge marine science research being conducted by students, staff, and faculty from all five UMass campuses (Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester). 

The morning session will consist of plenary presentations and the afternoon will consist of lightning talks and a poster session. In addition to oral presentations, the event will feature keynote speakers, a reception, and awards for the best overall poster presentation and best talk. Free & open to the public.
