Built on a $23 million donation of assets by the Southern New England School of Law (SNESL), the UMass School of Law - Dartmouth welcomed its first students in August 2010. The Fall 2010 class was some 330 strong, comprised of both first-year law students and returning students from SNESL, who all share a desire to achieve their academic aspirations.

The law school invites students who embody the best qualities of Massachusetts – an adventurous and innovative spirit and a disposition to use their knowledge and talent to improve the lives of their fellow citizens – to apply and make a little history with us.
