Jessica Almeida is the Assistant Dean of the Law Library who joined UMass Dartmouth School of Law in 2012. Prior to working as a librarian at the Law School, she was a library assistant at the Roger Williams University Library.
Ms. Almeida obtained her MLIS from the University of Rhode Island in 2013. She is an active member of the Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Law Librarians of New England (LLNE). She has chaired a variety of national law librarian groups and committees including the AALL's Legal Services for the Public Special Interest Section and LLNE's Service Committee.
