The UMass Dartmouth Labor Education Center is accepting original submissions from currently enrolled undergraduate students. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline for submissions will be moved to the fall. A specific date to be announced.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to fall 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.  A specific date to be announced.

The UMass Undergraduate Journal on Work, Labor and Social Movements is a publication of the four labor programs across the University of Massachusetts system. The UMass Dartmouth Labor Education Center is accepting original submissions from currently enrolled undergraduate students. The journal brings together work that offers critical insight into the experience of working people and movements.

We encourage submissions that foster an exchange of ideas across disciplines and that deepen the understanding of various means of oppression such gender, race/ethnicity/class, country of origin, language and sexual orientation. The journal is currently accepting submissions for its late Spring issue.

Submissions will be accepted in three categories: Research, Creative and Activist Reflection. In addition to being included in the publication, the top three pieces in each submission category will receive a cash prize. Please send all submissions and inquiries to: cviveiros@umassd.edu.
