Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports (Clery Act) pamphlets are published and distributed in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Campus Crime Statistics Act. The Act is the landmark federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose information on security and safety policies and certain timely and annual information about crime on and around campus.

The "Student Right to Know" pamphlet informs the University community about important procedures, policies, crime prevention programs and campus crime statistics. A copy of the pamphlet at can be obtained at the University police station or may be received by e-mailing the DPS Community Police Officer, Steve Mello or a written request can be sent to:

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth updates the "Student Right to Know" pamphlet by October 1st annually and advises University community members of the publication and availability of the pamphlet. The pamphlet is also available to prospective students and employees.
