Fab Lab
The CVPA Fab Lab is a 2D/3D digital fabrication studio available to UMass Dartmouth faculty and students with a priority to CVPA.
Contact cvpa.tech@umassd.edu to schedule an appointment to use the facilities. For training and demo of the equipment, please send email with Fab Lab in the subject.

- Fab Lab is accessible to faculty, staff, and students during posted hours only.
- Instructors must schedule a demo/project date and time in the Fab Lab no less than 1 week in advance. Please email cvpa.tech@umassd.edu to schedule your class time.
- Instructors must communicate the requirements of their class project with Fab Lab technicians prior to class demo or work time.
- Instructors must be present during a scheduled demo and/or class work time.
- Instructors must consult with the Fab Lab technicians in advance to familiarize themselves with workflow and equipment, as well as do a test run of the project.
- The Fab Lab will not charge a course for a project in which the use of Fab Lab equipment is part of the requirement.
- The Fab Lab does not provide materials other than 3D printer filaments and resin. Please consult with technicians in advance if there are any questions regarding materials.
