Professional learning opportunities

The lessons Art History students learn outside their classrooms are equally significant. Together with the members of the Art History faculty, students will have first hand experience with museum and archival collections as well as behind the scenes activities at notable national museums, galleries, archives, and collections including the New Bedford Whaling Museum; Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design; Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; New York's Museum of Modern Art, New York and Metropolitan Museum of Art; and Harvard's Fogg Art Museum, among others in the region
