NO STIGMA Simulation Toolkit
Six high-fidelity simulations were developed with the goal of educating nursing students about stigma related to opioid use disorder (OUD) and promoting empathetic, evidence-based nursing care that fosters health equity and mitigates disparities. The simulations are available for undergraduate, master’s in nursing education, and nurse practitioner students, and take place in a range of settings with a variety of different patient populations. A comprehensive NO STIGMA Simulation Manual is provided here, including the simulations and their resources.
