Office of Nursing Research

The College of Nursing & Health Sciences Office for Nursing Research (ONR) supports grant application development, review, and submission for faculty and graduate students. Additionally, ONR facilitates development of collaborations and dissemination of research findings and serves as the liaison to the UMass Dartmouth Office of Research Administration (ORA), Corporate Engagement & Institutional Partnerships, and other university-related research offices and supports.

Regular services

ONR provides ongoing Lunch and Learn faculty development sessions on topics related to research and grant development and writing. Suggestions for topics are invited. The 2023-2024 schedule is posted on the CNHS calendar and is listed below. Details about locations or Zoom links will be updated or can be accessed via Deanna Hoffman.

Megan Hennessey-Green, director of research administration, will put you in touch with the correct pre-award and post-award staff.

 

Business Engagement Center

For private foundations and/or proposals to corporations or proposals that require industry partners. Also available for initial consultation on budget and narrative for all grants.

The University Research Support Team provides administrative support to research faculty by facilitating institutional research processes from proposal preparation through grant close-out.
