Important Details
Date and time: ABSN Orientation is on Thursday, May 14 2026 at 8am. Arrive early for a light breakfast with coffee.
Please RSVP by Monday, April 27 2026 by 1pm.
Parking and arrival: Please park in Lot 16. As you enter the university, take your first right onto Ring Road. Lot 16 will be the second parking lot on your left. To avoid being ticketed, be sure to park only in this designated lot (#16). Once you’ve parked, walk through Lot 17 and head toward the Dion Building, entering through the double glass doors. Our team will be located in DION 106, and we will guide you to the room when you enter the building.
Food arrangements: Let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary needs in our RSVP form. A bagged lunch will be provided. We’ve got you covered!
End time: Orientation will conclude by 3:00pm.
Orientation program overview
Arrive early for a light breakfast, some casual conversation, and check-in at DION 106. Don't forget to park in lot #16!
Get ready to receive important information about the ABSN program, clinical requirements, and other key details to help you start strong.
Participate in a Q&A session with current Cohort 10 students to hear about their experiences, gain valuable insights, and ask questions to help you feel more confident and prepared for what’s ahead.
Immunization records
Please contact your provider’s office ahead of time to obtain a record of your immunizations.
Clinical Requirements: Bring your immunization records to the orientation, as they will be needed to meet the clinical rotation requirements.
Health Services: A representative from health services, along with Kim Reid (Clinical Education Coordinator), will be present to address any questions or concerns regarding immunization records and clinical requirements.
