  • March 2018: Jerelle Jesse (BS Marine Biology 2015) will enter the marine environmental science master's program at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Sciences. She received the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory Solomons House Graduate Research Fellowship and the Dean's Fellowship

  • March 2018: Callie Concannon (BS Marine Biology 2017) was accepted to the marine science program at the University of Connecticut Avery Point campus.

  • March 2018: Lauren Fracasso (BS Marine Biology 2016) will enter the marine biology program at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.

  • March 2018: Nina Santos (BS Biology 2016) has been accepted by Northeastern, URI, SUNY, and Antioch. 

  • February 2018: Ian Hutchinson (BS Biology 2018) has been accept to Boston University Medical School to begin his MD training. 
  • February 2018: Molly Madigan (BS Biology 2018) who was accepted to two veterinary schools, The Royal Veterinary College, London and St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. 
  • February 2018:Charlemya Erasme (BS Biology 2018) was accepted to 2 graduate programs, Boston University and Emory University, to study Health Policy and Law/Mangement.    

    February 2016: Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Koop who received a grant from the National Geographic Research and Exploration Committee for work on reconstructing the invasion route of a parasitic nest fly to the Galapagos Islands. 

  • January 2016: Graduate student Gregory Costa was awarded a UMass Dartmouth Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship (2016- 2019) to pursue his doctoral studies in the Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology Ph.D. program under the mentorship of Dr. Erin Bromage.
