Cyber Secure Computing Club

CIS-CSCC Hackathon 2026

Core Team Members 2025-26.

The Cyber Secure Computing Club (CSCC) is a student-run organization at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth under the CIS Department. Members and leaders of the club are primarily pursuing studies in computer science, data science, and related fields.

The CSCC’s main purpose is to provide students interested in cybersecurity with practical, hands-on opportunities to build and advance their skills. The club focuses on real-world learning through workshops, competitions, and collaborative activities. During the Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 academic year, CSCC provided certification-oriented learning opportunities for members, organized a cybersecurity Capture-The-Flag (CTF) hackathon, represented in university open house events, and conducted regular weekly meetings featuring hands-on attack and defense practice sessions.

The CSCC is open to students of all experience levels. No prior expertise is required—members are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow together in a collaborative environment.
