Meet the Team

The College of Nursing & Health Sciences (CNHS) Academic Advising & Support Office provides academic advising and holistic services in support of all first-year CNHS students' academic, professional, and personal goals. We do so by achieving the following objectives:

• deliver holistic, evidence-based practices that assure quality when addressing student needs
• promote the shared responsibility of academic advising between individual student and academic advisor
• develop and sustain campus and community partners to promote first-year student success
• evaluate and assess programs and services that lead to continual improvements that directly benefit our students
• deliver activities and events designed to support first-year student success
• create opportunities for student leadership development, and
• connect students with on-campus academic resources that include academic tutoring in reading, writing, study skills, mathematics, science, and other subjects
