It is preferable that students be enrolled in their junior or senior years at the University and that they reside in either the greater New Bedford, MA or the greater Sarasota, FL areas. |

For juniors majoring in accounting. Preference will be given to students who are in the top five percent of accounting majors. Recipients must demonstrate leadership and service to the school and the community through curricular and extra-curricular activities. |

| Matthew J. Macy Memorial Scholarship |
To support a graduate from one of the five local high schools in and around the city of Fall River, MA: BMC Durfee High School, Bishop Connolly High School, Joseph Case High School, Somerset High School and Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School. The recipient must be sophomore majoring in accounting. Academic standing and extra-curricular activities will be considered. Student must demonstrate financial need. Scholarship is renewable for two years as long as the student maintains a GPA of 2.7 or better. |

To support students with demonstrated financial need who are US citizens and are permanent residents first of Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, Acushnet, Dartmouth, or New Bedford, Massachusetts, or second from Bristol County. Preference will be given to students majoring in Marketing with a GPA of 2.75 or higher. Recipients who maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 may apply for successive Nolan scholarships, but an award does not imply continuation beyond a single year. |
