For those scholarships that require a Merit-based Scholarship Application , only one completed application is necessary to be considered for multiple scholarships.

Feitelberg/Abraham Scholarship

For sophomore, junior, or senior students enrolled at the Charlton College of Business. Must be a resident or Fall River, Somerset, or Westport.

A 2016-17 FAFSA completed by March 1 will automatically allow students who meet eligibility requirements to be considered for this scholarship.

Roger Deveau Memorial Award in MIS

For full-time student majoring in Management Information Systems.

Kenneth G. Gammons C.P.A. Scholarship

To aid full-time, undergraduate matriculated students in the Charlton College of Business majoring in Accounting/Finance. Preference given to juniors and seniors that reside in either the greater New Bedford, MA or the greater Sarasota, FL areas.

Alphee Laflamme Scholarship

For juniors majoring in Accounting. Preference will be given to students who are in the top five percent of Accounting majors. Recipients must demonstrate leadership and service to the school and the community through curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Christine M. Lonczak Scholarship

For full-time matriculated undergraduate students majoring in Marketing at UMD. Student must have a strong academic performance in the major, as well as demonstrate financial need.

Cecil Milton Lopes III Memorial Scholarship

For UMass Dartmouth student from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

  • Preference given to Charlton College of Business sophomores
  • Preference given to minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Preference given to Native American, African American, or Cape Verdean students

Cecil Milton Lopes III Scholarship Application

Submission deadline:

Matthew J. Macy Memorial Scholarship

To support a graduate from one of the five local high schools in and around the city of Fall River, MA:  BMC Durfee High School, Bishop Connolly High School, Joseph Case High School, Somerset High School, and Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.

The recipient must be sophomore majoring in Accounting. Academic standing and extra-curricular activities will be considered. Student must demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship is renewable for two years as long as the student maintains a GPA of 2.7 or better.

A 2016-17 FAFSA completed by March 1 will automatically allow students who meet eligibility requirements to be considered for this scholarship.

Murphy Family Scholarship

To support a student with demonstrated financial need and good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Preference is given to a student in the Charlton College of Business entering their junior year and whose permanent residence is Taunton, Fall River, or New Bedford.

A 2016-17 FAFSA completed by March 1 will automatically allow students who meet eligibility requirements to be considered for this scholarship.

Ryan P. Nolan '07 Memorial Scholarship

To support students with demonstrated financial need who are US citizens and are permanent residents of (1st preference) Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, Acushnet, Dartmouth, or New Bedford, Massachusetts, or (2nd preference) from Bristol County. Preference will be given to students majoring in Marketing with a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Recipients who maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 may apply for successive Nolan scholarships, but an award does not imply continuation beyond a single year.

A 2016-17 FAFSA completed by March 1 will automatically allow students who meet eligibility requirements to be considered for this scholarship.

Frank C. Santos, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

To support matriculated students in the Charlton College of Business. Preference will be for students who graduated from Dartmouth High School or New Bedford High School. Students must demonstrate financial need.

A 2016-17 FAFSA completed by March 1 will automatically allow students who meet eligibility requirements to be considered for this scholarship.

Dan & Kate Serpico Scholarship

To support a full-time student with good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.28 and who also demonstrates financial need. Preference given to a junior, majoring in Management within the Charlton College of Busienss, whose permanent residence is in southeastern Massachusetts.

There is no application process. Selection will be based on the recommendation of the Dean or his/her designee of the Charlton College of Business and a afaculty member of the management department.

William C. Wild Scholarship

For undergraduate students in the Charlton College of Business. Scholarship based on merit.

Chung Gong Wong Scholarship

Preference given to an undergraduate or graduate student who resides in the greater Fall River area; emphasis on International Business curriculum, academic merit, and demonstrated financial need.
