Professor Joseph A. Bronstad Scholarship 

For students participating in any of the Hessen programs. This scholarship was established to recognize and reward the achievement of a student entering the sophomore or junior year or a first semester senior who will study for an academic year, semester, January intersession, or summer program in the State of Hessen, Germany.

Preference will be given to students who are maintaining a grade point average of 3.0. Further preference will be given to students who have successfully completed German 101 and 102. Travel for summer, full academic year, or fall semester study: March 15

Travel for January intersession, or spring semester study: October 15

Michael W. MacFarlane Jr. Memorial Scholarship

For undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need who plan to study abroad for a semester or for an entire academic year.

Preference will be for students who are, in order of preference: 1) members of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity; 2) History or Political Science majors; or 3) members of the Phi Sigma Sigma, Delta Pi Omega, Iota Delta Nu or Alpha Sigma Tau sororities.

Thomas M Medeiros '60 Arts Travel - Study Abroad in Portugal or Italy

For a student with in good academic standing with demonstrated financial need who plans to study abroad for a semester in Italy or Portugal.  

Must be a CVPA Arts or Architecture Major or have completed an ARts History Course.

Dean Mary Louise Walsh Scholarship for International Study

For an undergraduate student or graduating UMass Dartmouth senior participating in degree courses in a foreign higher education institution.

Number of scholarships and amounts to be determined by committee.
