Internships

All students are required to complete a 130-hour internship course in their senior year.

By participating in the internship program you will:

  • apply what you learn in the classroom to workplace experiences
  • gain experience navigating real-world situations
  • explore career options
  • develop practical skills for working in your professional field
  • build your resume with experience
  • develop a network of professional contacts to use as references
  • improve your qualifications for graduate programs
  • help agencies provide services that improve our society
