Professional Writing Certificate
Our 12-credit certificate program helps you enhance your skills and credentials in professional writing. In this program, you can take any four classes offered in the MPWC program, including these regularly offered courses:
- Document Design
- Web Development & Design
- User Experience
- Style
- Rhetorical Theory
And, electives, such as:
- Public Relations Techniques
- Grant Writing
- Social Media Content and Strategy
- Science Communication
Application Requirements
Students with at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning may submit an application. To apply:
- Send an official transcript(s) from colleges or universities
- Write a three-page statement about your writing and professional background and goals
- Complete a Certificate Program Application (pdf)
