Charlton College of Business offers bachelor’s, master’s, online, and certificate programs across three departments.
Accounting & Finance
Students learn the essential financial knowledge and practical skills necessary to become problem solvers and decision makers. Accounting courses emphasize information technology skills, including database applications and technology used for accounting and tax research. Finance courses emphasize funds management. Students are introduced to analytical tools, which bring together concepts from economics, accounting, and mathematics.
Decision & Information Sciences
Courses focus on finding answers and leveraging information technology within an organization to increase business value and profits. Students learn how to analyze an organization's information systems; conceptualize, design, and implement business solutions; manage systems throughout their life cycles; and apply technical skills in database, networking and business analytics.
Management & Marketing
Management courses equip students with analytical and leadership skills, supervisory knowledge, and strategic thinking abilities. The marketing curriculum emphasizes problem-solving and management decision-making skills. Students are introduced to phases of marketing as well as product distribution and services throughout the global economy.
