At UMass Dartmouth, entering students may be awarded university credit for exhibiting college level proficiency through Cambridge International Examinations.
Cambridge International Examinations AL and AS Chart
The following chart is a list of Advanced Level (AL) and Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS) for which the university awards course credit. Grades of A-E are eligible for transfer credit for AL exams and grades of A-D are eligible for transfer credit for AS exams.
Please submit official certificates or have your high school make an official photocopy and stamp it as official. Students who repeat subject in both AL and Al will only receive credits for AS or AL, but not both. This is effective for incoming students in Fall 2026 or later.
