The MSME program objective is to provide advanced education that enables students to solve complex engineering problems.

MSME program outcomes

Students will demonstrate:

1. Advanced level of understanding in the general areas of mechanical engineering
2. A depth of knowledge and an understanding of advanced topics in chosen area of specialization
3. The ability to identify and formulate complex engineering problems
4. The ability to develop solutions to complex engineering problems
5. The ability to orally communicate technical material effectively
6. The ability to communicate effectively through technical reports and publications
