CENTER FOR POLICY ANALYSIS

SouthCoast Signals Project

SouthCoast Signals measures a variety of social, economic, educational, and environmental indicators in the SouthCoast. The project is a collaboration between the UMass Dartmouth Chancellor’s Office, the UMass Dartmouth Center for Policy Analysis, the Standard-Times, and the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts. In all, fifty-four indicators are tracked to determine where the region is and where it is going. The list of indicators emerged out of a grass roots process involving the Community Foundation and the former Regional Community Congress.
