ECE Major Image UMD Campus

ECE Senior Steven Brown used a GoPro camera mounted on a quadcopter to generate aerial images of campus. GoPro cameras make it easy to capture stunning photos and video of dynamic activities such as in extreme sports and aerial imaging. Brown and his fellow students from the Idea Club at UMD are developing their own quadcopter which is being designed to carry heavier payloads. Steven Brown is a dual major in electrical engineering and computer engineering. He has also been admitted to the MS in computer engineering program as part of the 5-year BS/MS program in the ECE department.
