Micro-scholarships through RaiseMe
UMass Dartmouth has partnered with RaiseMe so you can begin to earn scholarships as early as your freshman year of high school. These scholarship funds can be applied to your UMassD tuition and fees.
You can earn $4,000 in scholarship funds per year, up to $16,000 over 4 years toward your undergraduate education at UMassD. This program allows you to know the minimum scholarship award you will receive from UMassD before you apply. Once you apply and submit your FAFSA, UMass Dartmouth will evaluate other scholarship and financial aid opportunities that may be applicable.
Note to high school seniors: You must register for RaiseMe and enter your high school achievements by November 1 to be eligible for scholarship earnings. You can include information from your prior years of high school.
How it works
- Create a free portfolio at raise.me/join/umassd
- Enter your high school achievements to date.
- Keep your profile updated through your senior year.
- That’s it!
When you create a profile on RaiseMe, you can earn micro-scholarships (performance-based scholarships) that are based on your academic and personal achievements throughout high school.
For example, during high school you can earn a micro-scholarship for:
- Earning an A
- Taking rigorous courses like honors and AP
Your earnings are instantly displayed in your RaiseMe portfolio and represent the minimum amount of aid or scholarships you’ll receive from UMass Dartmouth when you enroll.
