Music Performance
BA

Earn a BA in music with a concentration in performance to build experience and confidence as you form your own style and presence on stage. The music performance concentration is designed to meet the needs of students who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in music, performance careers, conducting, or teaching in private studios.

In addition to the core music BA curriculum, the performance concentration provides deeper exploration of theory, history and performance practice, conducting, and performance skills. Students have the opportunity to focus on classical, jazz, or theater and work closely with world-class faculty to advance their performance ability through individual lessons, classes, and workshops that culminate in senior-year recitals and performances. 

Music majors looking to teach may also earn a concentration in music education.
