About Abbey Rogers
Abbey Rogers is a California native artist who moved to New Bedford in 2017 when she started attending UMass Dartmouth. After graduating with a BFA in illustration, Abbey plans to pursue freelance illustration and eventually find her way to an animation studio doing concept art and storyboarding.
Statement
I wanted my work to show many different parts of the animation concept process and teach people about it the same way I was taught. I fell in love with the whole process the second I saw it and I want my work to make at least one other person fall in love with it as well. Getting this whole project done and critiqued via Zoom was a struggle but it pushed me to find a style I really enjoyed and to dive deeper into the process in my own ways.
