Statement

Wig Wag is a restaurant that caters to both dogs and humans. It’s modern yet fun design encompasses the energy that is Wig Wag. It is a playful indoor and outdoor restaurant for all members of the family to enjoy together. There is a full people and kids menu, along with a menu for dogs containing real dog meals and desserts. The food served is very American diner inspired and the restaurant sits in Santa Barbara, right on the water to give the restaurant a relaxed, fun, feel good vibe.I created Wig Wag with the hopes of contributing to the growing movement as pets as family and really creating that experience in a way that hasn’t been seen much before. My vision was a lunch and dinner restaurant with bright bold colors, wacky type, a beautiful view, and a menu for the whole family. While my other work throughout my undergrad experience has been more serious or elegant, Wig Wag is the opposite. It is still modern, but it has a wild side, and I tried to make that really apparent throughout my design work for this project.
