About Lyndsey Getchell
Lyndsey Getchell was born and raised in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. She grew up surrounded by the beaches of New England. The beauty of the beach and the creatures that live there inspired her to create Beach in a Bubble. The devastating effects of carelessness and neglect over time have been problematic in beaches all over the world including the beaches she grew up with. It’s normal to see plastic bottles and garbage blowing along the shoreline. Lyndsey created this brand to not only showcase the beauty of the beach, but to bring awareness that our beaches need saving.
Statement
Beach in a Bubble is a brand that supports the wellbeing and maintenance of the world’s beaches through sales of beach themed terrariums that include all-natural soy wax candles scented with essential oils. Ten percent of all proceeds are donated to 4Ocean, an organization dedicated to cleaning plastic and other harmful materials from our oceans and beaches. This product is meant to bring awareness to the pollution crisis in our beaches as well as bring the beauty of the beach to your home.
