About Sam Scully

Samantha Scully grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts. She now lives in New Bedford in order to continue her education, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Communications. She has been passionate about studying design since high school where she learned printing and production. She has always been interested in the arts and wanted to choose a career where she could help others spread positive messages.

Statement

My intent when creating this project was to uplift others. Elevate is a brand I developed to carry out this goal. The app utilizes the widget function allowing one to display an array of messages on their phone screen. Consisting of four categories of quotes, the user can personalize the messages to elevate their day. They can then customize the appearance with themes I have designed. The physical part of this brand is a series of postcards. The front can be displayed as a daily message; if sent out to a friend, there is room to add an uplifting note of your own.
