About Carina Sousa
Carina Sousa is a graphic designer from New Bedford, Massachusetts.She graduated from Bristol Community College with an Associates Degree and is completing her studies with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her work explores different types of media and design formats. She is greatly inspired by timeless design that embodies enduring aesthetics, relevance, and utility.
Statement
When I was younger, I got my first pet, a dog named Poochie. Growing up with Poochie was a blessing, not only did he love to play dress up with me (not that he volunteered sometimes) but he was also well trained. Treats always got his tail wagging, so much so that his favorite summer pastime was joining us on our trips to the Cape. He adored the little treat store located in Provincetown, Massachusetts. With Poochie loving to dress up and get a fancy little treat I wanted that to be the substance of my capstone. My brand Bow Wow! is a monthly dog treat/apparel subscription that brings in aspects of fun/colorful patterns paired with lighthearted energy. Fostering mailman and dog relationships one box at a time!
