About Rena Danho
Rena Lauron Danho is a 22 year-old artist who likes to work in many different art mediums but excels in illustration, animation & game arts and sculpting. She enjoys drawing many different things, mostly in a cartoony style with thick line art. Conveying music and the feeling songs give is also one of her favorite things to do.
Statement
In my Capstone project, I illustrated posters for different bands and artists varying in genre that inspired my illustrations. I wanted to make sure that, visually, all of the posters captured the vibe of the artist through the image. When fans of the artists I chose look at the posters, I want them to be able to see the connections between my illustrations and the bands/artists. My love for music has been a major part of my life that has surrounded me my whole life due to my dad constantly playing music as I was growing up. Over time, however, I found music that resonated more with me. Music for me is more than sound and vocals; it is something that has changed my life and created some of the fondest memories for me, making this Capstone project something I am proud of.
