About Samantha Will

Samantha Will is a photographer based in New England and she is receiving her BFA in Art in Design: Photography in May 2025. Much of her work involves topics of nature, sustainability, and wildlife. While photography is her main focus, she also works in other media such as antique photo processes, printmaking, book arts, and embroidery.

When Samantha isn’t creating artwork she is spending time with family and pets, including two ferrets named Chip and Dale, or exploring areas down the Cape.

Artist Statement

Nature is a key source of my inspiration for my work, finding the beauty and imagery within it is part of my work. I explore nature and wildlife, comparing and contrasting the man-made vs. the natural world and the effects of one upon the other.

I grew up going on whale watches out of Provincetown, MA, collecting vintage National Geographic magazines and poring over animal encyclopedias. These childhood influences surface in my palette preferences of greens and blues, as well as my interest in conservation and activism.
