About Fernando Gaspar Rodriguez

Fernando Gaspar is a 2D/3D artist born and raised in Querétaro, México, and possesses a strong love for art, ranging from traditional 2D illustrations to 3D work. He has a specific passion for character art such as concept art, animation, and digital sculpting. At the same time, he enjoys the technical aspects of 3D art by exploring topics such as rigging and texture nodes.

Statement

This project seeks to blend two areas I deeply love, racing and 3D art/modeling. By researching and studying the 2026 Formula One technical regulations, I set out to design my own Formula One car as if I were entering the grid to compete. During this process, I focused on learning the fundamentals of aerodynamics and deepened my skills in hard surface modeling in Blender. In addition, I also focused on the technical aspects of a production-ready 3D model such as textures, UV mapping, and rigging. This project reflects my long-term interest in both motorsports/Formula One and digital art, representing the effort to merge engineering principles with design and 3D art.
