About Rebecca Wallace

Rebecca is an undergraduate senior in the Interior Architecture + Design program at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. From a young age, she had a passion for designing spaces, especially ones with unique design challenges, that allowed her to experiment with color.  

Statement  

Catpuccino Cat Café addresses the increasing need for supportive community spaces in response to the rise in mental health challenges since the pandemic. By integrating opportunities for both animal therapy and art therapy, the café provides patrons with an environment that encourages stress relief, relaxation, and emotional well-being. The design is intentionally crafted to reflect the essence and characteristics of cats, creating a spatial experience that strengthens the bond between humans and felines while promoting comfort, calm, and connection.
