About Sabrina Tripodi

Sabrina Tripodi is a senior in the Interior Architecture and Design program at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Throughout her academic career, Sabrina has demonstrated a strong dedication to creating spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. She is most interested in hospitality design. Sabrina is a very detail-oriented person and channels that into each project she works on to enhance the experience of all those who interact with the spaces she designs.

Statement

This senior thesis focuses on the design of Seabreeze Bakery in Kennebunk, Maine. Seabreeze is not only a bakery but also an educational space with culinary classes. The bakery's goal is to bring people together through delicious treats whether they are coming in to buy a sweet brownie or take a cake decorating class and learn a new skill. The materials and architectural features of the design are inspired by the organic shapes and blue green colors of sea glass found on the nearby beaches in Maine.
