About Siobhan Shannon

Siobhan Shannon is an artist that works in a variety of mediums and loves to try new styles and techniques. They like to think of themselves as a Jack-of-all-trades, but have honed their education in Animation + Game Arts into a focus of environment and prop art. Upon finishing their degree at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, they hope to continue their work within the field of environment art.

Statement 

My projects create art out of the mundane. My favorites things to show in my art are the reclamation of nature over human creations and pushing exaggerated perspectives, most explicitly in my works of environment art 

This project pushes my skills as an environment artist, as I created all the props and set dressings myself. While there is more story written than shown in the finalized Capstone, this project forces the setting to show the viewer the story.
