Statement
This thesis explores the design of a salon and braiding education space created from a series of shipping containers. The project reimagines the traditional salon by combining beauty services with a teaching environment where individuals can learn braiding techniques, develop skills, and build confidence. The open concept creates a collaborative environment while the design emphasizes adaptability and community learning. Ultimately, the project celebrates hair as a form of individuality while creating opportunities for people to learn, connect, and feel empowered.
