Biography
Jacob Stillman, UMass Dartmouth Class of 2020, Animation & Game Arts and Music. In my time at UMD, I’ve grounded my interests and abilities in character animation and illustration in 2D and 3D. I adore making scenes and stories come to life, and I’m pushing myself to make more ideas a reality.
Statement
For my capstone, I created two characters (Juniper and Uzi) with the goal of showing them off in a short 3D fight scene. My goal was for Juniper and Uzi to express themselves through their poses, designs and interactions with each other. As such, in addition to creating stances and dynamic poses in Maya, I sketched storyboards and character art in Photoshop to capture their personalities.
