About Sarah Silva
Sarah Silva is a graphic designer from Mahwah, New Jersey. She is interested in creating striking visuals and playing with mixed media. Sarah is currently finishing up her BFA in graphic design at the College for Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Aside from graphic design, she is a student athlete and is finishing her senior season on the women's soccer team.
Statement
My capstone project is about showcasing unique homes from all around the country. For years I have been fascinated with exploring new places and finding homes that are out of the ordinary. That is why I included the constellation, Orion, in my name for the issue of my magazine. Orion is described as a hunter and it fit in perfectly with my idea of hunting for the next adventure. 50 States 50 Stays is all about finding that next adventure and new experience in life. This is what led me to create something that incorporated my love for both architecture and design.
