About Tyler Donovan

My name is Tyler Donovan; i am a 22-year-old creative director & music manager from Boston, Massachusetts. As a creative director, I specialize in brand development & strategy as well as digital/print design.

Aside from design, I’m passionate about music management. My favorite genres of music are alternative pop & r&b. In my spare time I work as a music manager & creative director via my own brand atherlace. I focus on delivering marketing solutions, press coverage, and negotiating deals.

Statement

The topic of selection for my Capstone project is “Why is Graph- ic Design is important in the Music Industry?” For the last year or so, some of you may know that I have shifted heavily into working in the music industry full-time. Assuming roles through creative direction, management, and consulting. Throughout my time in the industry, it is apparent how necessary that graphic design has been for the success of a brand. Whether for marketing or artistic purposes, my statement still stands.

My goal is to create a strategized brand identity system with marketing collateral to showcase how important design & assets are to a company's success, as well as getting BTS footage with my artists including studio footage, their own personal thoughts on art in the industry, etc. I want to highlight to everyone who works in the industry as well as those who are interested how crucial graphic design is to the success of an artist & their brand.
