Getting to know ESOL for CNA coordinator and adult basic education teacher, Donald W. France, Jr.

Donald W. France, Jr. coordinates UMass Dartmouth Workers’ Education Program ESOL for CNA Program. He’s also an evening ELA and math teacher at the WEP. In his free time Donald enjoys cooking and reading novels; his wife would even say he likes cleaning! If he ever won the lottery, he would buy a fast, expensive car, take several trips, and give generously to dog rescue and elephant preservation efforts. He would like to travel to Africa to see elephants in the wild and visit Nelson Mandela sites. One of his favorite quotes is from Abraham Lincoln, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt." According to Donald, success is having enough money to pay the bills, enough wine chilling, and a 24-hour span of not aggravating my wife.”
