About Annie Dooley
Annie Dooley is a graphic designer, illustrator, and jewelry artist from Glocester, Rhode Island. She will be graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from UMass Dartmouth’s College of Visual and Performing Arts in May of 2023. Since 2021, she has run her small business Queerings, selling handmade jewelry and stickers on Etsy and at craft fairs and pride events across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Her work also reflects other interests in sustainability, photography, and entrepreneurship.
Statement
Over the past few years, she has been taking business classes, doing research, and volunteering at her local cat shelter to work towards her goal of eventually opening a cat cafe in Providence, RI. For her capstone project, Annie created a brand identity for Kitty Corner and utilized various digital fabrication methods to create merchandise, uniforms, and a sign displaying the cafe’s logo. All materials created were also photographed by her and included in a brand book. She has also designed materials for the cafe such as rules for entering the cat lounge, cat information sheets, and customer loyalty cards.
