About Alec Stinnett

Alec Stinnett is a graduating senior at UMass Dartmouth currently receiving his Bachelors of Arts with a major in the field of Graphic Design. In his free time he does enjoy drawing, video games, getting outside and also going out with his friends. Along with graphic design, he also enjoys drawing and working on pencil portraits when not focused on classes or work. He is striving to become a UI/UX designer and is grateful for the opportunity to express his creativity in any future projects during his career.

Statement

For the capstone assignment, the main challenge that I decided to take on is to rebrand a website for the Captain Scott's seafood restaurant on Cape Cod Massachusetts. The rebranded version of the mockup site contains up to 5 pages, including the home page, menu pages, and the contact page. Designed mainly in Adobe XD, the inspiration was to provide Captain Scotts with a desktop website that is easy to navigate while providing a stronger aesthetic. The mockup also includes a new logo that was inspired by the restaurant to better convey the main theme of Captain Scotts.
